Since it was founded, OBV SCABRIC has been a prime contractor and partner in numerous projects. This section presents the organization’s most notable projects, both completed and those currently underway.
Between 2013 and 2015, OBV SCABRIC, with funding from the Prime Vert program, developed a project to help agricultural producers comply with regulations regarding riparian buffer strips along watercourses and ditches. We installed markers along the watercourses of participating producers, clearly indicating the limits to be respected.
The PAAR Saint-Louis project promotes the adoption of environmentally-friendly farming practices by agricultural producers located in the Saint-Louis River watershed, upstream of Route 201.
The PAAR Saint-Pierre project was launched in 2023 with funding from MAPAQ's Prime-Vert program. This project aims to mobilize 15 agricultural businesses along the Saint-Pierre River to join a collective movement in favour of adopting new agri-environmental practices.
This program is offered to agricultural producers located along the Rivière Saint-Régis, which flows through the municipalities of Saint-Isidore and Saint-Constant. This project, conducted in collaboration with a number of partners, is designed to support agricultural producers in changing their farming practices.
The PAD Saint-Rémi project, initiated in 2023, aims to introduce more efficient management practices for groundwater resources, mainly destined for the agricultural sector.
