Since it was founded, OBV SCABRIC has been a prime contractor and partner in numerous projects. This section presents the organization’s most notable projects, both completed and those currently underway.
Since 2017, OBV SCABRIC leads a Table de concertation comprising people and organizations with concerns about the Saint-Régis and Saint-Pierre rivers, which experience flooding, erosion and drought.
Étant donné les importantes inondations du printemps 2017, le ministère de la Sécurité publique du Québec (MSP) et l’Université Laval ont développé une collaboration avec les organismes de bassin versant du Québec, via le ROBVQ.
The 2nd edition of the États généraux de l'eau, held in 2017, highlighted the importance of water in the agricultural environment, updated knowledge and gaps, identified actions carried out on the territory and presented new agri-environmental practices.
Between 2013 and 2015, OBV SCABRIC, with funding from the Prime Vert program, developed a project to help agricultural producers comply with regulations regarding riparian buffer strips along watercourses and ditches. We installed markers along the watercourses of participating producers, clearly indicating the limits to be respected.
During the first États généraux de l'eau gathering in 2015, participants had the unique opportunity to explore and discuss the Water Master Plan (WMP) in a collaborative spirit. This initiative aimed to deepen understanding of the WMP and encourage concerted action on this crucial subject.
