Since it was founded, OBV SCABRIC has been a prime contractor and partner in numerous projects. This section presents the organization’s most notable projects, both completed and those currently underway.
Up until May 2023, OBV SCABRIC and its partners have developed decision-making tools, trained municipalities and made the adaptation process visible throughout the Saint-Régis watershed.
The États généraux de l'eau are key events for bringing together various stakeholders involved in the management of this vital resource in the Châteauguay area.
It is now possible to take a trip down the Châteauguay River from the Très-Saint-Sacrement bridge to the OBV SCABRIC rental service at Paul-Léveillé park in Sainte-Martine.
Since 2004, the SCABRIC OBV has been helping students and teachers discover the region's waterways as part of the J'adopte un cours d'eau educational program. Des rivières surveillées : s'adapter pour l'avenir, a project managed by the Groupe d'éducation et d'écosurveillance de l'eau (G3E), in collaboration with OBV SCABRIC, receives financial assistance from the Quebec government under the Action-Climat Québec program, and is in line with the objectives of the Plan pour une économie verte 2030.
The PAAR Saint-Louis project promotes the adoption of environmentally-friendly farming practices by agricultural producers located in the Saint-Louis River watershed, upstream of Route 201.
