What is it?

Hop aboard for a picturesque getaway on the water between Ormstown and Sainte-Martine. Whether you opt for a canoe, kayak or rabaska, this rural excursion promises a memorable day on the water. Choose from 8, 16 or 24 km routes, adapted to your level and desires. With an easy degree of difficulty, this adventure is accessible to all, ideal for a relaxing day in the great outdoors. Enjoy the calm of the rivers and soak up the enchanting scenery all around you. August canoeing offers you the perfect opportunity to create unforgettable memories in the heart of nature.

Meet in Ormstown at 8 a.m. for a warm welcome. Departure from the Ormstown soccer field at 9 a.m. The route has been specially designed to be enjoyed by families and occasional canoeists. You’ll cruise along a picturesque river, discovering the rural landscapes, rich heritage and herds that dot the surrounding countryside. There are three stops along the way:

  • Battle of the Châteauguay National Historic Site of Canada, 8 km;
  • Très-Saint-Sacrement bridge, 16 km;
  • Parc Léveillé in Sainte-Martine, 24 km.

A box lunch is available for only $10. You can also bring your own lunch.

We take care of everything:
