Watercraft rental
Experience the thrill of going down a river in a canoe or kayak
The OBV SCABRIC offers a non-motorized watercraft rental service. The objective of this recreation and tourism attraction is to allow the public to enjoy the ecological and historical richness of the Châteauguay River. The watercraft rental service allows water sports enthusiasts to navigate and observe the river’s flora and fauna.
Available watercraft: single kayak, double kayak, paddleboard (SUP) and canoe.

New! Sainte-Martine residents receive a 15% discount on their rental. Payable on site only. Proof of residency required.

- Rentals will be suspended when there is a high risk of thunderstorms during opening hours.
Châteauguay River descent
Every weekend this summer, until September 28, join us for a 7 km kayak trip!
Project made possible with the financial participation of the Ministère des Affaires municipales et de l’Habitation as part of the Support for Regional Outreach component of the Regions and Rurality Fund.
Option 1 – Kayak and Shuttle
Rent your kayak and a minibus will take you to the Très-Saint-Sacrement bridge. A life jacket is provided.
Cost: $50
Option 2 - Kayak and Bike
Rent a bike and a kayak! A minibus will transport the kayak to the Très-Saint-Sacrement bridge, where you can pick it up after your bike ride. A life jacket is provided.
Cost: $60
SUP Yoga sessions
The OBV SCABRIC, in collaboration with the Municipality of Sainte-Martine, is offering SUP Yoga classes every Wednesday from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Session Duration: June 18 to July 23, 2025
Instructor: Katherine Dooling, certified paddle yoga instructor (Paddle Canada certified) + General First Aid
