As part of the Saint-Régis watershed project – Implementing major and complementary adaptation projects, OBV SCABRIC and its partners made progress over the summer. Following the success of the bus tour in June, a web page was created and launched.
Meanwhile, Lasalle | NHC refined and calibrated the watershed-scale hydrological and hydraulic model. It includes climate change scenarios and will be linked, as closely as possible, with groundwater. The model will be compared with the CMM’s flood results.
Meanwhile, ÉTS prepared the multi-criteria analysis. The participatory workshop was held with Saint-Isidore residents on September 20, 2022, and a watershed-wide workshop was held on October 18.
On an internal level, in addition to working on communications, the OBV SCABRIC prepared meetings with the municipalities in the watershed on the subjects of drinking water conservation, sustainable stormwater management and open space.
