Our project “En 2023, partez à la découverte de la rivière Châteauguay!” is currently receiving votes as part of the Bourses d’initiative en entrepreneuriat collectif. We sincerely wish to promote public access to the Châteauguay River, and that’s why we need your help!
The Châteauguay River is a valuable and hidden gem – one that’s well worth the detour. This is why the OBV SCABRIC wants to improve its low-cost rental service on a motorboat-free stretch of the river, combined with a network of public access points. In addition to the canoes and kayaks already available for rental, paddleboards will added to our offer. The OBV will also increase the promotion of the rental service to our target audience: citizens aged 12 and over.
Come and enjoy the Chateauguay River in an enchanting setting where woodlands, agriculture and resorts meet. Starting at the skaters’ pavilion in Sainte-Martine, navigate a tranquil body of water where you can observe a wide variety of birds, as well as stop at identified public access points to enjoy a moment of relaxation: picnic, hike or more! A world of possibilities awaits you!
