Local Community Invited to OBV SCABRIC’s Water Conference

The Société de conservation et d’aménagement des bassins versants de la zone Châteauguay (OBV SCABRIC), the Conseil du bassin versant de la région de Vaudreuil-Soulanges (COBAVER-VS), and the Comité ZIP du Haut Saint-Laurent invite the population of Montérégie-Ouest to attend the fourth edition of the Water Conference. The event will take place on February 18, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Manoir D’Youville in Châteauguay.

The Water Conference aims to bring together a wide range of stakeholders involved in the management of this vital resource in the Châteauguay Zone. These meetings promote exchanges of knowledge, discussion and debate on the challenges of water use and conservation. Participants are invited to share recommendations and develop strategies to support the sustainable management of this precious resource.

This event plays an important role in encouraging citizen participation, idea sharing and collaboration. The experiences and knowledge exchanged at the symposium inspire significant improvements in this field. With its emphasis on dialogue and collaboration, the États généraux are crucial to the development of consensus-based policies and best practices.
