OBV SCABRIC will take part in the 3rd edition of the Marché de l’équinoxe d’automne (Fall Equinox Market), to be held on Saturday, September 26 at Maison LePailleur in Châteauguay. Visitors will have the opportunity to view the “I Love My River” photo exhibition, presented in collaboration with Maison LePailleur, and explore the booths of the many exhibitors on site.
The exhibition will showcase the beauty of rivers and aquatic environments through a selection of photographs. Among them will be the three winning images from OBV SCABRIC’s “I Love My River” photo contest, held throughout Water Month in June. The three winning photographers are:
- 1st place: Michel Lévesque
- 2nd place: Caroline Thibault
- 3rd place: Sara-Maude Gervais
At the OBV SCABRIC booth, visitors will be able to learn more about the organization’s projects and initiatives related to environmental protection and water resources. A quiz will also offer a fun way to put their knowledge to the test.
The Marché de l’équinoxe d’automne will feature seasonal programming highlighting local initiatives and community stakeholders. The event will provide an opportunity to enjoy the market’s activities while gaining a greater appreciation for the importance and richness of our aquatic environments.
